The Hartage Foundation
The Hartage Foundation is a place where compassion meets action. Founded by community leaders and philanthropists Homer and Rosemary Hartage, the non-profit organization is built on a deep belief in care, connection, and collective responsibility.

STEM & Caregiver Education Scholarships
The Hartage Foundation Scholarships for STEM & Caregiver Support Education open doors of opportunity for African American students and aspiring caregivers alike.
Our STEM Education Fund empowers future innovators in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics, while our Caregiver Support Education Fund uplifts those dedicated to compassionate service in healthcare and elder care.
Advocacy For Dementia & Alzheimer’s Disease
Our Advocacy Programs focus on education, awareness, and policy advocacy, helping communities understand the realities of memory loss while promoting best practices in caregiving and support.

Homer L. Hartage
As one of Florida’s most trusted Licensed Professional Guardians, I serve as President and CEO of AgedCare, a nonprofit corporate guardianship company based in Orlando, Florida. Our firm is widely recognized for its integrity, compassion, and commitment to protecting the rights of vulnerable individuals throughout Florida.
My academic background includes a B.A. in Psychology from Seton Hall University, along with postgraduate studies at the University of Florida. I’m an active member of the Professional Fiduciary Council of Florida, the National Guardianship Association, the Florida Health Care Association, and the Florida Guardianship Association.
With over twelve years of experience in guardianship, I also provide financial services, including roles as Trustee, Personal Representative, Veteran Fiduciary, and Social Security Fiduciary. My life’s work is grounded in a lifelong dedication to advocacy, financial stewardship, and public service, including two elected terms as Orange County Commissioner, where I helped manage a $3 billion economy.
